On Sunday, while walking (decked out in theme) to Taco Bell, we stumbled across what Curbed is appropriately calling “destructoporn” in Chelsea. Eerily, many of the items that once belonged to the building’s former residents (prior to the facade being removed) were abandoned in the apartments. As we stood gawking like tourists, I couldn’t help but notice some of the subtle details - the rocking chair, the old American flag swaying in the wind, the ceiling decorations, the jackets hung on the sprinkler pipes… It resembles an extremely dilapidated dollhouse.
