My best friend, Alexa, has a dog named Isabella Rossellini. One weekend we convinced Alexa (or so I thought) to change the dog’s name to Himalaya. Soon thereafter, it was morphed to Jelly. I don’t ask questions, but I do know it is one of the most adorable balls of fur I have ever seen. Unfortunately, Jelly’s adorablility-facor (?) had no pull on a recent flight: “Let me tell you - Alexa really took quite a stand for the dog to remain with her in first class this morning. I could understand her effort for Van Cleef, for Christian Louboutin shoes, maybe even her boyfriend… No. The dog. It was really an impressive moment… Well, except for the part where she offered to put it in the overhead compartment during take off and landing. Anyway, she ended up finally keeping the dog with her but both of them were shoved into coach.” -Stephanie Rad
