While I was out running errands I came across a man packed into a box of ice. To make a long story short the man’s name is Wim Hof and he’s “attempting to break his current world record for immersion in an ice bath - outdoors.” Apparently he uses some sort of tantric meditation to avoid hypothermia… Mr. Hof should be there (torturing himself) until almost 4pm if you want to see it for yourself. The exact address is 130 W 17th (cross is 7th Ave) but you can’t really miss it thanks to the crowds and ambulances standing by.
