I think it may finally be time to say goodbye to my beloved Treo and thus I come to the predictable fork in the road: BlackBerry or iPhone? Looking at the reasons I stayed loyal to my Treo for so long (touch screen, conversational text grouping, battery life, durability, operating system, etc.) only makes the decision harder. The designer in me is obviously lusting the iPhone, but my career and friends (who use BBM) beg for the BlackBerry. I realize the responsible approach would be to follow what is best for my job, but I am a (graphic and interactive) designer so the line between the design and function is easily blurred. In short - my requirements for a phone are hardly that of an investment banker.
I ask - which do you prefer and why? I’m not looking for the specs, I’ve already read/compared those excessively. However, any personal insight (especially if you have recently made a similar decision) would be greatly appreciated…
