One the best parts about the Scope preview was that we were given the opportunity to meet almost all of the exhibiting artists. This piece (Jesus Has One In The Oven) is by David Henry Brown Jr. and is made completely in felt pieces. David currently resides in Berlin, and a large percentage of his work incorporates his love for pizza. He also takes pride in being the first to “impregnate Jesus with an oven”. When I asked if I could take a photo he welcomed the idea, and even whipped out shades that folded into the shape of a bunny. He was definitely one of my favorite people from the event.
