Artist Erik Nordenankar recently created what may prove to be the largest self portrait in the world (40,076,592 by 40,009,153 meters):With the help of a GPS deice and DHL I have drawn a self portrait on our planet. My pen was a briefcase containing the GPS device, being sent around the world. The paths the briefcase took around the globe became the strokes of the drawing.Details on the production of the (55 day long) project can be found here.
