While (technologically) streamlining my life this weekend, I decided to start using Gmail Reader. As a designer, I was really hesitant to start using this resource because I assumed it controlled eliminated the aesthetic variable of the user-experience. In reality, the program simply helps the user prioritize and absorb rapid amounts of information (RSS feed) without visual distractions. Conclusion? It helps organize, saves time and the user can take comfort in knowing that the source (site) is only one quick click away…
