Last night, I ventured to Broadway Boxing at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill with Stephanie Wei and Rachelle Hruska to witness the Tor Hamer vs. Chris Hancock fight. Maybe fight is the wrong word, because it implies that there was some sort of give and take when there really wasn’t… Tor (the local favorite) destroyed Hancock. In retrospect, I’m pretty sure that we were the only females in the room who weren’t donning bikinis and holding up numbers in the ring at the end of each round. For those keeping score: yes, this was the second boxing event that I’ve attended in the last 6 months. Believe me, I’m equally perplexed.
