KO (short for Knock Out) nailpolish has been making us swoon with their so-matte-it’s-flatte shades. Owners Aaron McCann and Mike Potter felt that existing matte nailpolishes gave off too much shine, so they created a line of polishes which come in three colors: black (as chalkboard), white (as whiteout) and calamine (as in the lotion) — that leave nails dull and glare-free. However, after several days, the matte fades into a satin sheen — as it’s intended to do — which led to the creation of KO’s new matte topcoat. In one stroke, your nails are back to being shineless.
