#58 “Spirit” A Tribute to Lee Alexander McQueen by Visionaire… Visionaire pays tribute to the iconoclastic genius of Alexander McQueen who left his definitive mark on the design world of the 90s and 2000s. But it’s more than just a tribute, this special issue is published following a planned project between the designer and Visionaire, which never came to fruition. Now, as if to make up for the past, [they have] assembled some amazing work from Nick Knight, Steven Klein, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and Lady Gaga. With 1,500 copies on a special paper to plant, the Visionaire 58 will be sold exclusively in Alexander McQueen boutiques, Visionaire and at Colette. A limited edition couture version created in close collaboration with the house of Alexander McQueen will also be available. (via)

W Magazine’s Law & Order editorial featuring Eliza Cummings, Portia Freeman, Eden Clark, Amy Greenhouse, Daisy Lowe and Peaches Geldof, shot by Steven Meisel and styled by Alex White… W’s March issue fashion portfolio features a bevy of wild child models and it-girls catfighting, gambling, posing for mug shots and acting generally unladylike—albeit while sporting some glorious clothes. What was the atmosphere like on the shoot?Lowe: Full of creativity and hyped-up energy. All of us models got on really well and we had such a laugh the whole way through. What was the atmosphere like on the shoot?
Lowe: Full of creativity and hyped-up energy. All of us models got on really well and we had such a laugh the whole way through. (via)

Visionaire has created a gorgeous (limited edition) pop-up book set… Visionaire 55: Surprise presents 12 hardcover pop-up books, boxed together, with projects by Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Steven Klein, Sophie Calle, Andreas Gursky, Cai Guo-Qiang, Guido Mocafico, Solve Sundsbo, Yayoi Kusama, Gareth Pugh and Alasdair McLellan. Together, the pop-up folios are housed in a cloth-covered case with a magnetized closure and an engraved metal plaque. Surprise is a collaboration with the internationally renowned Champagne house, Krug.
